Heart Meditation is one of the most powerful forms of meditation. When we talk about your heart, we’re not talking about your physical heart. We’re talking about your energetic heart, which is located in the center of your chest. (see chakra meditation for more information on this).
Meditating on the space of the heart develops compassion and expands our capacity to love.
Instructions for a Heart Meditation
1. Focus on the center of your chest
2. As you breathe in, feel the love of the universe coming into your heart
3. As you breathe out, offer your love back to the universe
4. Continue for as long as you’d like in this way
