May 19-23 is Yoga Week at the National Institute of Health.  This is just one of the many initiatives to help increase the awareness of Yoga and its use as a form of alternative medicine.  Events are free and open to the public (you’ll have to get yourself to Maryland).  One of the more notable speakers is Sat Bir S. Khalsa, Ph.D., Director of Research, Kundalini Research Institute Research Director, Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health Assistant Professor of Medicine Brigham and Women’s Hospital Harvard Medical School.
